Student Intern Application
Hazelwood is a psychiatric mental health office located in Scottsdale, Arizona. At Hazelwood, we assess, diagnose, and treat mental health needs across the life span. Our goal is to provide care in a holistic way, integrating patient physical, emotional, and spiritual health needs. At Hazelwood, we prescribe medication, address therapy needs as well as provide psychosocial assessments to adults and children with mental health issues. We believe in treating the whole person and embrace the power of possibilities for all of our patients!
As a student intern with Hazelwood Mental Health you may:
Perform case management tasks, including scheduling, coordinating care, and concurrent review.
Conduct counseling sessions, patient screening, and patient intakes.
Track, record, and report on patient progress.
Facilitate group, individual, and family counseling
Attend scheduled clinical staffing, supervision, and training for coordination of care, case reviews, and patient treatment planning
